The Bloomjoy Sweets Story
Hi there! I'm Ethan Trifari, co-founder of Bloomjoy Sweets. I've always had a sweet tooth, but my love for cotton candy goes beyond the sugary delight. It's a symbol of joy, nostalgia, and the simple pleasures of life. Growing up in New Jersey, some of my fondest childhood memories were of the state fair, where the highlight was always getting cotton candy with my family. The anticipation of watching the candy floss spin into a fluffy cloud, the delight of the first sweet bite - it was pure magic.
When the pandemic hit, it felt like that magic was in short supply. The world was changing, and so were the ways we interacted and experienced joy. I found myself longing for the simple, sweet experiences of my childhood, and I knew I wasn't alone. That's where the idea for Bloomjoy Sweets started.
I wanted to recreate the joy of the state fair, but in a way that was safe and accessible for everyone. I wanted to bring back the magic of cotton candy, not just as a treat, but as an experience. And so, my father-in-law, Yanhong, and I set out to create a cotton candy machine that was more than just a vending machine. It would be a spectacle, a moment of wonder and delight in the everyday.
Our cotton candy machines are designed with cutting-edge robotics, but at their heart, they're all about fun. They spin cotton candy into beautiful flower shapes, creating a treat that's as delightful to look at as it is to eat. The joy we see on kids' faces when they receive their cotton candy flower - that's what Bloomjoy is all about.
Bloomjoy is more than just a business to me. It's a dream come true, a way to bring a little more joy and sweetness into the world. I'm so excited to share this journey with you, and I can't wait to see where it takes us next.
